Who we are

drew

Brought to Savannah by circumstances beyond his control, drew has taken to the “Slow”vannah lifestyle and has even started to enjoy it. He is still getting used to SST (Savannah Standard Time), half and half tea, and the crowds outside of Paula’s place. An educator by trade, drew has recently switched careers to marketing and most specifically web marketing where he works with clients as a blog consultant, usability engineer, social media guru, and coffee drinking buddy. Calm down ladies. He is married and has two cats; Jack and Jill. On most days you can find him rifling through the pages of the New York Times while gulping on his Grande Non-fat Mocha, Extra-Hot, no whip from the Starbucks. He is also a big Johnny Cash fan and refuses to acknowledge the death of Tupac.

gennie

Originally from the Blue Ridge Mountains of southern West Virginia, Gennie moved to Savannah in 1996, 24 hours after graduating from high school. She says that it was the beach that tempted her to stay, we say it was the close vicinity of two military bases. She does love a man in uniform. Since her move to Savannah, Gennie’s been an evil corporate radio disc jockey, slacker nurse, and bbq slinger. In 1997, she discovered blogging and a C-List blogger was born. In addition to blogging, she’s also the owner of a blossoming photography business, co-owner of a web hosting/design business, and she’s a reporter for a local newspaper. She also goes by the titles of “Wifey” and “Super Mom”. When not blogging, reporting, taking pictures, designing websites, and doing laundry, she obsesses over all things Harry Potter, Jane Austen, and “Project Runway”. She loves white chocolate Mochas from Starbucks and long romantic strolls through Bonaventure Cemetery with her husband.
