I think it’s great that there is enough interest to have a second blogsavannah. Last year was merely a warm-up and provided some great dialogue for this past year.
As I have left the personal blogging world this past year and increased my corporate blogging responsibilities I have noticed some trend changes in the blogosphere. With the increasing number of blogs it seems that everyone is talking but few are really saying anything. My desire is that bloggers will work hard to discover their audience and write specifically for them. There is a place for all bloggers and I found that by taking a break I was able to find the social role bloggers have filled. It is exciting time for bloggers in that our voices are louder than ever and we are being turned to for first-hand news, commentary (social and personal), hyper-media and corporate updates. I am really looking forward to hearing how blogs in the Lowcountry have grown and matured and how bloggers continue to keep a fresh voice.
