That’s right. Blogsavannah would like to be one of the first to congratulate the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department on their recent acquisition of a $1500 Kustom Falcon radar gun. Now we have one less road to feel “the wind in our hair” as we shoot down Highway 196.

In all seriousness though, it is good that the county got the device as Liberty is often referred to as one of the highest highway accident ridden counties. Perhaps if people are more conscious of their speed they will be more mindful of other traffic laws. Whatever the case, I am just going to find a new po’dunk town to speed through!
