I LOVE Keller’s Moo Cow. Isn’t there another, or maybe it’s the same one moved - down on Rt. 17 towards Garden City?
Savannah needs a coffee table book compiled, full of such photos and stories of our absurd and abstract people, places and things.
“World Famous” Victory Drive!
I think there is a book being compiled (at least I hear there is) by the guy that runs the “Keep Savannah Strange” campaign.
I am also a fan of the “mod house” on Abercorn (forget the cross street) that has the Star of David tiled into the driveway.
Oh, and lest I forget the Great Dane with the Great Dong just over the bridge toward Garden City. hahahahahahaaha!
The cow at Keller’s is the same cow that was farther north. They just moved it to Keller’s.
I would love to have the time to stop and get a picture of the Great Dane.
And for the tourists, don’t forget they love Paula Deen. She’s all Savannah to them!
And another one just hit me. How many other towns have a sand gnat as their baseball team mascot?
Just moved to Savannah and I thought I left all the protesters back in the DC Baltimore area until I ran into Mr. Destroy Satan the other night. He was kind of endearing in that you-sorta-freak-me-out-while-making-me-smile sort of way. I’ve also seen the huge globe - good stuff!
What about the “Bird Guy” who is always at York Square? eck!
What about the fact that most shops on Broughton close early - so that by the time we get off work and go downtown we can’t spend any money there. That’s kind of strange to me!
