The Derby Girls are ready to rumble

This just in:
The Savannah Derby Devils women’s roller derby league and Hang Fire pub host a “Derbauchery” and costume party 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10 at the 37 Whitaker Street bar. Guests are invited to dress are their favorite of the seven deadly sins.
The Seven Deadly Sins include: Luxuria (extravagance, lust), Gula (gluttony), Avaritia (avarice/greed), Acedia (sloth), Ira (wrath), Invidia (envy), and Superbia (pride/hubris).
Prizes, including season tickets to the Derby Devils’ upcoming games, will be awarded to the winners of the costume contest and other games held throughout the night.
A $3 suggested donation goes to the Savannah Derby Devils’ inaugural season starting 8 p.m., March 2 in a bout against the Atlanta Rollergirls at Super Goose Sports, 3700 Wallin St.

Do you have one? I am hoping to get some from the derbauchery or even the first bout. I wasn’t able to make the car wash held a couple months ago. Send us one if you have one.
