Reception for Paintings by Maurice Henderson - at the Starfish Café

Union Mission’s Growing Hope Artisans’ Cooperative presents paintings by Maurice Henderson at the Starfish Café during the month of February.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, February 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Starfish Café, 719 East Broad Street.
Henderson enjoys depicting images from African-American history: W.W. Law, Buffalo Soldiers, Freedom Riders, and also images from the natural world.
The Growing Hope Artisans Cooperative offers training, support and entrepreneurial experience to individuals who are interested in fine arts and crafts and who are also impacted by homelessness. For information about this art program by The Growing Hope Artisans Cooperative,
