Will that be paper or plastic?

This bit of news was passed on to me by another concerned citizen in Savannah in regards to our insance rubbish and waste problem. Read on:
Our community is in the 11th hour and 45th minute of an effort to implement a residential recycling program in the City. Next week at their retreat, the Savannah City Council will be considering implementing a curbside recycling program. It is important to reach out to the mayor and your council member and let them know how important it is to you to have a single stream, curbside recycling program and municipal sorting facility. A strong show of support will allow the Councilmembers to realize how strongly residents of Savannah feel about the need to recycle.
Please take a moment to pick up the phone or write an email to your representative on Council, and encourage others to do the same. Together we can create positive change in our community.
