Snapping to a new beat in Savannah

Last night was a pretty good party at Cha Bella. Located at the end of Broughton Street closest to the water, Cha Bella is a great grill and patio bar offering a great drink menu and organic dishes. What was it for though? Well, it was the kick-off for SNAP.

SNAP (Smart Noise Awareness Project) is a social club of Savannah’s young adults who are interested in learning about and enjoying quality music, and who want to be more closely involved with the Savannah Music Festival, the largest music festival in Georgia.

The event itself was a great mix of young professionals and some music afficianodos. The hit, however, was the song stylings of The Wiyos. A very hip Vaudevillian - Ragtime - Jugband - Blues and Hillbilly Swing, The Wiyos really spiced up the night.

If you want to see some pictures of the event you can click on the Flickr link to the right of the page. Oh, don’t forget…tonight is C-spot. Check out the C-Spot for more info!

Hooray for SNAP. Last night seemed to be a wild success so thanks to everyone who came out.
