The 2007 Savannah Music Festival has announced its lineup. The festival itself is billed as one of the largest and most diverse music festivals in the southeastern United States. The 18 day music fest will take place between March 15 and April 1, 2007. However, tickets go on sale today. The following are scheduled to grace the stage(s):
- Wynton Marsalis - artistic director for Jazz at Lincoln Center.
- Marty Stuart - country music’s true renaissance man.
- Dianne Reeves - pre-eminent jazz vocalist in the world.
- Anoushka Shankar - daughter of Ravi Shankar and sitar virtuoso.
- John Pizzarelli - jazz quitartist, vocalist and bandleader.
- the Borodin Quartet - the world’s longest-lived string quartet.
- Al Jarreau - jazz, R&B, and pop singer.
